

World Fair 1900: Paris Reborn
On April 15th, 1900, Paris began the biggest celebration ever put together anywhere, the World Fair. Festivities completely transformed the city. Over 50 million visitors discovered this new Paris, exalted by the advent of electricity. Gigantic buildings were erected in record time. A hundred and twenty years later, some are still among the most beautiful monuments of the capital.
